Missioner TV is a YouTube channel dedicated to random missions, with a focus somewhat on the paranormal.

The project was founded in 2015 by Shoestring Shane A.K.A. Shane O'Sullivan, with the specific intention of exploring and investigating the paranormal from a spiritual point of view, and within the understandings of the Christian faith. 

The initial idea came to Shane even before 2000, but the video editing equipment from that time was expensive, and so the idea was shelved. Then, in the advent of digital technology, the tools to start and maintain such a project became cheaper and much more accessible, and the rest is history.

 Missioner TV has since branched out into other random areas to encompass the broader spectrum of adventures, which the internet has come to dub 'missioning' videos. So that we can legitimately claim to be one of the early adopters of this descriptor on YouTube.

The channels motto is 'Bad Ideas Executed Terribly!' And the logo is of a falling/slipping man, because in many early adventures, Shane regularly managed to nearly fall over whilst filming, due to the fact that most of the videos were recorded in dark locations in the dead of night.

2MT2 is effectively Missioner TV's 2nd YouTube channel. 

Here you will be able to watch videos that don't quite fit on the primary Missioner TV channel. 

This may include videos that are 'off niche' to the primary channel. But it also may include videos which are more roughly edited, videos which are more fly-on-the-wall style, and more gritty, warts-and-all type videos, as well as experimental videos, testing new random ideas. This will be a channel where I don't have to worry about chasing numbers, likes, and subscribers, etc. So basically anything that doesn't quite fit on Missioner TV may find itself on this 2nd channel, 2MT2.

The name 2MT2 is borrowed, in celebration of the historic radio station, 2MT (Two Emma Toc), which was the first British radio station to make regular entertainment broadcasts and the "world's first regular wireless broadcast" for entertainment. 2MT began transmissions on 14 February, 1922, from an ex-Army hut next to the Marconi laboratories at Writtle, near Chelmsford in Essex.

Shane O'Sullivan was born on Christmas Day in Writtle, Chelmsford, Essex, England, in the dark old grey days of 1973.

He is still based in Essex, England, where the majority of Missioner TV videos are recorded. However, he is available and willing to travel further out to explore other paranormal cases, or just to go on other future Missioner TV missions.

Shane O'Sullivan is an ordained Reverend and is an active independent Christian Minister.

His other investments of time and passions include, writing poetry, writing and singing songs (badly), painting (mostly demons), as well as many other hobbies. He enjoys the outdoors and nature, and includes camping and survivalism as kean interests.
